Pedestrian injured in State College hit-and-run, police searching for suspect

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (WTAJ) — Police in State College continue to look for a driver who hit a pedestrian last Wednesday.

The State College Police Department said a vehicle struck a pedestrian in the crosswalk of Hiester Street and E Beaver Avenue around 8:49 p.m. on April 10 and then left the scene.

Police said the victim suffered injuries and was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center and has been released. The suspect’s vehicle, pictured below, is believed to be a Honda CR-V that is dark in color.
