Since Saturday, nine people have been rescued from Ozarks waterways after trying to swim , kayak or raft . More rain to come will add additional dangers to an already high-risk situation.

A break in the rain has allowed the Ozarks to dry and rivers and streams to recede. However, with additional rainfall, the break in flooded roadways won’t last long.
