    SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Here are last week’s restaurant health code violations.

    Observed: There are numerous floor tiles missing throughout the back part of restaurant also wall in employee restroom is in poor repair. Plans need to start being made to resolve this long term issue. An electrical outlet needs to have wires capped off and a cover put over the outlet, if not going to use.

    Observed: The hot water faucet at bar sink was not operational and dish sprayer won’t turn off.

    Observed: Staff were unable to find any chlorine test strips for checking dish machine.

    Observed: Employee placing ingredients for spring rolls into spring roll wrappers and rolling spring rolls with bare hands. Employee discarded foods that were touched with bare hands and put on gloves before returning to work. Education provided. Corrected on site.

    Observed: Knives stored on magnetic rack were stored with food debris on them. Knives were removed from service and taken to dish machine. Education provided. Corrected on site.

    Observed: Potentially hazardous foods cooked and cooled the day prior not being at or below 41F. Soup 46-47F, Noodles 47F. Food was voluntarily discarded. Education provided. Corrected on site.

    1. Cooked shrimp temped at 109.0F.

    2. Queso temped at 112.0F.

    Observed: Hand washing sink in kitchen temped at 84.0F. Water at all hand sinks must have a temperature of at least 100.0F. Bathroom hand sink temped at 101.0F.
