McDonald's will soon serve fresh Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Here's what we know

Soon, Krispy Kreme fans will have yet another place to pick up their favorite doughnuts.

McDonald's announced Tuesday that the fast food chain will begin selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts as early as this year.

The collaboration will be rolled out nationwide starting later this year, with all McDonald's locations offering Krispy Kreme doughnuts by the end of 2026, according to a McDonald's news release. A McDonald's spokesperson did not have specific information available for when Springfield locations will begin selling the doughnuts.

To celebrate the announcement, all Krispy Kreme locations are offering one free Original Glazed Doughnut to all guests who visit between 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, March 26.
