Taking place at the intersection of Main Street and Bridge Street, Springfield High School students will lead the charge in painting the crosswalk as part of the Safe Space Initiative. Community members are invited to join in on the painting festivities. Those interested in participating can sign up as volunteers by emailing info@SpringfieldPrideParade.org.

“Our Mission: At the Springfield Pride Parade, we walk together in a community-driven movement of support, inclusivity, and public recognition to remind our LGBTQIA+ youth that they are safe, they are loved, and they are not alone,” affirmed the organizers.

This initiative not only celebrates diversity and acceptance but also serves as a visible reminder of the ongoing commitment to create a more inclusive environment for all members of the Springfield community.

All are encouraged to join in this symbolic act of unity and solidarity, reinforcing the message of love, acceptance, and support for LGBTQIA+ individuals.
