Brooklyn Park censures second councilmember
The Brooklyn Park City Council has censured a second councilmember. Councilmember Maria Tran will be barred from certain councilmember activities following an investigation that concluded Tran exhibited hostile behavior in the treatment of an employee. NICOLLET COUNTY, Minn. (KEYC) - A teenage boy was injured after his SUV went off the road and rolled around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. 16-year-old Landyn Daniel Bullerman of Mankato was heading south on Highway 169 when his 2006 Jeep Commander left the road and rolled near Old Minnesota Avenue in Traverse Township.

MINNEAPOLIS — Minneapolis police arrested a 17-year-old early Sunday morning near Hennepin Avenue and 9th Street after the teen allegedly pointed a 9mm handgun at police. Police say the teen was wanted in connection with a robbery that happened earlier in the night where a cellphone was taken at gunpoint. The 17-year-old was located near the area of Hennepin Avenue and 9th Street in downtown Minneapolis and police say the teen ran when officers approached him.
Motorcyclist crashes, dies in Robbinsdale
A speeding motorcyclist died last week at a Robbinsdale intersection. On June 7, a Crystal police officer observed a motorcyclist traveling at a high rate of speed eastbound on 42nd Avenue North near Winnetka Avenue. The officer initiated a traffic stop and the motorcycle fled from the officer at a high rate of speed eastbound.
