Man attacked with baseball bat in York dies 38 years later, death ruled homicide
A 64-year-old man has died from injuries he received in an assault 38 years ago in York city, according to the York County Coroner. Craig Tschudy died on June 5 at the Inners Creek Nursing Center in Dallastown, where he was receiving care, the coroner reported. When Tschudy was 26, he was reportedly attacked with a baseball bat by suspects who were never identified.

Man found dead after central Pa. shooting
A 21-year-old man was found dead after a shooting in York County on Thursday night, according to police. York police dispatched to the 400 block of North Beaver Street at 11:56 p.m. after report of a shooting. When police arrived at the scene, they found a man who died from a gunshot wound. The York County coroner’s office also responded to the scene. Authorities did not release the victim’s name and hometown.
