York County tractor trailer driver charged with causing deadly crash in Lancaster County in October 2022
WILLOW STREET, Pa. — A York County man has been charged with homicide by vehicle and other offenses after police say he caused a deadly crash in Lancaster County in 2022. Ryan G. Schilling, 42, of Red Lion, was driving a tractor trailer truck that struck a passenger vehicle at the intersection of Route 272 South (Willow Street Pike) and Long Lane (Route 741) in West Lampeter Township on Oct. 11, 2022, police said.

Heavy thunderstorms, power outages hit central Pa. Wednesday morning
Loud thunderstorms with heavy rain and lightning crossed central Pennsylvania early this morning, and power outages have been reported. The National Weather Service in State College said the storms are starting to wind down as of 5:30 a.m. Affected areas include Perry, Lancaster, York, Adams, Cumberland, Lebanon and Dauphin counties.
