Library kicks off summer reading program
, , , Wimberley Village Youth Summer Reading Program kicked off last week with a Mad Hatter Pirate show, a petting zoo, snow cones, face painting, hot dogs, and booths staffed by Master Gardeners and Master Naturalists. Highlights of the petting zoo included a kangaroo named Rosie and a wallaby. The Summer Kick-off was sponsored this year by a generous donation from the Friends of the Wimberley Village Library which was recently named non-profit organization for the month of June by KWVH.
