Rescuers Take to the Sky in Search for San Antonio Man who Drowned in Canyon Lake
The search continues today for a 19-year-old San Antonio man who drowned in Canyon Lake Sunday after becoming separated from his tube. The Texas Game Wardens Aviation Unit flew the search area in a helicopter, and a game warden Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program used a drone to lend additional support to marine and ground crews.
Burglary suspect arrested in Wimberley
On Friday, April 12 at approximately 8:33 a.m., deputies with the Hays County Sheriff’s Office answered a burglary call in the Woodcreek North Subdivision of Wimberley. When arriving, deputies found a male subject matching the description seen on a security camera owned by the complainant. A door had been forced open at the residence. The subject was driving a white SUV which was located nearby and was also found to be in possession of a handgun. No additional information is available at this time as the investigation is ongoing. Sheriff Gary Cutler thanked deputies for their quick response which led to the apprehension of the suspect.
