Phillip Phillips to headline free Spartanburg concert for BMW Pro-Am

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) – Singer-songwriter Phillip Phillips will headline a free concert in downtown Spartanburg during the 2024 BMW Charity Pro-Am.

This is the third year for the free concert series.

The concert will be held Thursday, June 6 at Morgan Square in downtown Spartanburg.

“We are excited to have Phillip Phillips headlining this year’s Spartanburg Concert,” said Bob Stegner, president of South Carolina Charities, Inc., the non-profit foundation of the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX. “This concert is not only a highlight of the tournament week but also a fantastic way to give back to the Spartanburg community.”

The American Idol winner is known for hits like “Gone, Gone, Gone,” “Raging Fire,” and “Home.”

Opening for Phillips will be Back 9 Band, James Radford Band, and Gritty Flyright.

2023’s free concert was headlined by Diamond Rio while Marshall Tucker Band headlined in 2022.

Concert festivities begin at 5 p.m. with Phillip Phillips performing later in the evening.
