TORRINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — Torrington police are urging the public to come forward with information about a 38-year-old man accused of robbing a bank and trying to rob a Dunkin.

Police said that Kyle Witkoski, of Southington, tried to rob the Dunkin on Main Street on Saturday, and then robbed the TD Banknorth on Tuesday morning. During both robberies, he implied that he had a weapon and demanded cash.

A customer chased him away from the Dunkin drive-thru before he could get the money, according to police.

Officers do not know if he had a gun either time. They are warning the public to have caution if they see Witkoski.
