Tigers Farm Scheduled to Open on May 8th

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – Get ready for the return of the South Plainfield School District’s Tiger Farms outdoor market, officially reopening for the season on May 8 ^th. Operated by students from the Life Skills and Transition Academy, this farmer’s market-style event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at South Plainfield High School (SPHS). Expect to find an array of offerings, including seasonal flowers, decorations, baked goods, and more.

Open to the public, Tiger Farms aims to support its programs by directing proceeds from sales back into the community. Funds raised contribute towards supplies, community-based instruction outings (such as restaurant visits and shopping trips), and various program needs. With students managing all sales transactions, the market provides a valuable opportunity to apply classroom learning in practical, real-life scenarios.
