BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - The Dickinson School Board Election has two seats open, each with a four-year term. There are three candidates running, two are incumbents. Brent Seaks has served on the board for eight years, serving five of those years as president. He also serves on other boards and is involved in many community organizations. Seaks said he is running for re-election because he believes his business experience, understanding of how healthy boards work and familiarity with the Dickinson Public Schools make him a qualified candidate. He said if re-elected, he is hoping to continue to focus on achieving district goals centered around improving student learning and having students ready after high school for college, military service or other careers.

DICKINSON, N.D. (KFYR) - The Dickinson Police Department is still searching for 53-year-old Keith Schmidt. He was last seen in Dickinson on May 20.
