Circleville Man Found Hiding in a Bush after Several Attempted Burglary Attempts
Circleville – A series of coordinated police reports have shed light on the apprehension of a burglary suspect identified as Justin Melvin on April 1st, 2024. The incident began when officers were dispatched to Northridge Road in response to an attempted burglary. Officer Sanford arrived at the scene, gathering information from the homeowner who reported, ” The witness described observing a male wearing a gray and blue hoodie with blue jeans in the area approximately 20 minutes prior, providing valuable information for the investigation.
Pickaway County among the top 10 fastest-growing counties in Ohio
Lexi Heidish, assistant director of P3 — Pickaway Progress Partnership — provided an update on development in Pickaway County to Sunrise Rotary club members May 7. Heidish, who has been with P3 since November, cited recent accomplishments by the non-profit corporation, including working to keep current employers in the county and assist them with growth & expansion plans; securing new investment like the purchase by Amazon Web Services of 234 acres for a data center; and the addition of a distribution center by Cardinal Health that will create 100 jobs at the Rickenbacker area. And at Sofidel, a $185 million expansion project is in the beginning stages that will bring more than 100 employees to its workforce. Heidish also pointed out that Pickaway County is in the top 10 fastest-growing counties in the state, requiring more affordable single and multi-family homes.
