Two Troy men charged in a major drug and weapons bust
Two men are facing felony charges after police found several different narcotics and handguns in a Troy apartment. The Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Unit, Troy Police Department Detectives and ATF searched a residence on the second-floor of 398 10th Street on May 17 where police say David Landfear, 38, was in possession of approximately 66 grams of heroin, fentanyl, and suboxone, as well as 22.3 grams of methamphetamine, US currency, scales and packaging. Landers Burton, 24, was inside the residence, according to police, and was in possession of .45 caliber semi-auto handgun. An additional 9mm semi-auto hand gun was recovered and charges are pending, police said.
