Man Sentenced to Prison for Criminal Threats, Assault on Officers
The Ventura County District Attorney’s Office announced that Nathan Journigan, a 30 year-old man from Ventura, was sentenced on Thursday, April 25, 2024, to five years state prison. He previously pled guilty on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, to felony criminal threats and felony preventing a police officer from performing their duty. Journigan also pled guilty to misdemeanor assault on a peace officer, and admitted to several special allegations and enhancements.
