This is the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Mountain Artists Guild of Prescott. The Guild is a non-profit art organization. One of the founding members was George Phippen, the namesake of The Phippen Museum of Western Art in Prescott. Phippen was a prolific artist who created over 3,000 sculptures and artworks over his short lifetime. He died in his 50s.
