Morningside Days Parade sets off 4 fun-filled days

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — The 73rd annual Morningside Days and Parade and Carnival are here for community fun!

The Morningside Days Parade will also take place on Thursday, May 16 beginning at 6:30 p.m. Immediately following the parade the carnival will take place in the Morningside Library parking lot.

The Carnival hours are as follows:

• Thursday, May 16, after the 6:30 p.m. parade until 10 p.m.
• Friday, May 17, from 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. for buddy night
• Saturday, May 18, from 12 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
• Sunday, May 19, from 1 p.m. – 8 p.m.

The parade route will start on Morningside Avenue from South Lakeport Street to Elwood Olsen Stadium.

Advance tickets for the carnival can be purchased from participating Peters Park businesses like Bob Roes, Great Southern Bank Peters Park Flea Market, Peoples Bank, Wheelock and Associates, and Drilling Pharmacy.

The last day to purchase advance vouchers will be Friday.
