Power restored for MidAmerican customers in Sioux City

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — UPDATE (5:56 p.m.): Power has been restored after an outage affected more than 250 MidAmerican customers in Sioux City.

According to the MidAmerican outage map , there are no Sioux City customers without power at the time of publishing.

Meanwhile, there are two in the Sioux City metro region in the rural community of Buck Grove.

(3:00 p.m.): MidAmerican is actively working on the outage and there are currently 146 customers without power according to the outage map.

Some residents in Sioux City are currently without power, according to MidAmercian Energy’s outage map.

The outage map shows that there are currently 253 MidAmerican customers in Sioux City that may currently be without power.

The outage appears to be affecting residents in the Morningside neighborhood.

The map shows that the outage occurred at around 9:41 a.m. and power is expected to be restored by 5:15 p.m.
