NP girls win at Hutchinson
Hard work is paying off for the NPHS girls’ golf team. The Trojans topped a seven-team field at Hutchinson Friday, May 3. The Trojans finished with a team score of 365 for 18 holes, 12 strokes clear of Delano. BOLD finished third at 384 and the hosts Tigers checked in fourth with a 387. Marshall, Litchfield, Le Sueur-Henderson and Dassel-Cokato rounded out the field.
TCU softball picks up pair of victories over Mayer Lutheran
Tuesday night, the Tri-City United softball team hosted the Mayer Lutheran Crusaders in a conference showdown. The Titans outscored the Crusaders 19-4 in the doubleheader, picking up their fifth win in the last six games. With the victories, TCU is now 5-7 (5-5 MRC) on the season. Fobbe is golf meet medalist
The Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted/Maple Lake golf team competed in a Wright County Conference West competition at Litchfield on Tuesday, April 30. Brayden Fobbe shot the low 74 for meet medalist honors. Larson Melgaard shot an 80; Landon Salmela shot an 88; Sam Lueck shot a 91; Mason Mochinski shot a 92 and Caleb Boese shot a 93. The HL-W-W/ML team finished fifth out of eight teams.
