Rifle hit-and-run results in one death
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) - A hit-and-run that occurred in Rifle on April 29th resulted in casualty. At 4:50 a.m. on April 29th, a hit-and-run occurred on the Rifle River bridge, which resulted din the loss of a pedestrians life. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a silver 2005 to 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee, possibly with tinted windows. Witnesses report it was last seen heading Eastbound on I-70. This vehicle has significant front-end damage, with additional damage to the hood. Notably, the grill is painted silver, not chrome.
