Police search for hit-and-run vehicle involved in York County crash
RED LION, Pa. — Pennsylvania State Police are searching for a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that occurred Monday afternoon in York County. According to police, the silver four-door sedan left the scene of a crash that occurred around 3:15 p.m. at the intersection of Horace Mann Avenue and Railroad Lane in Red Lion. The car has a large dent on its passenger side front fender, police said. The operator of the vehicle is described as a middle-aged white woman.
New Deputy Sheriffs Gain Tools to Serve at Penn State-Run Academy
After 19 weeks of training, 35 newly hired deputy sheriffs from counties around the commonwealth will return to their home communities prepared to serve after completing the Penn State-run Pennsylvania Sheriff and Deputy Sheriff Education and Training Program. The class will graduate at 11 a.m. Friday, May 17 in Deans Hall of the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center.
