The Great American Eclipse is almost here; here are tips to stay safe
JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - The Great American Eclipse will make its way through the country on April 8. A few notable cities are Natchez, where the eclipse gets started in Mississippi, at around 1:49 p.m. then Vicksburg and Jackson join at around 1:52 p.m. Oxford and Clarksdale will be some of the last cities to experience it closer to 2 p.m. with Clarksdale expected to get around 96.1 percent totality.
