Bucks County Lake Listed as One of the Best Spots for Bass Fishing in Pennsylvania

Nockamixon Lake, located within Nockamixon State Park in Quakertown, was listed amongst several large reservoirs in Pennsylvania where bass fishing is plentiful.
Roadwork Ahead: Detours Announced In Bucks County
Resurfacing will begin on Geigel Hill Road on Monday, April 29, officials say. The work will continue every weekday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through late May, weather permitting. Geigel Hill Road will be closed from Durham Road to Upper Tinicum Church Road. Drivers should use Upper Tinicum Church Road/Chestnut Ridge Road, Bridgeton Hill Road/Marienstein Road, southbound Route 611 (Easton Road), and Durham Road instead.

Two women were hospitalized Tuesday morning following a multi-vehicle crash on the 202 Parkway in Montgomery Township. The crash occurred at the intersection with Knapp Road at 9:15 a.m. on April 23. Police said a Kia Sportage, driven by an 18-year-old female from Phoenixville, was traveling northbound on the 202 Parkway when it collided with a Hyundai Ioniq that was traveling eastbound on Knapp Road.

Paul Kerr, 30, was sentenced to seven to 14 years in prison on Wednesday, April 24, according to the state Attorney General's Office.
