PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- An 18-year-old was shot seven times and ran over by an ATV in Philadelphia's Fairhill section Monday night, police said. The shooting happened on the 2900 block of Mascher Street just before 9 p.m.Police said the 18-year-old was shot three times in the left buttocks, twice in the left side of his back, and twice in the left shoulder. He was placed in stable condition at Temple University Hospital. No arrests have been made and no weapons were recovered, according to police. 

The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has declared a Code Orange Air Quality Action Day due to fine particulate matter for Tuesday, June 6, 2023, for Montgomery County, along with Philadephia, Bucks, Chester, and Delaware counties. The issue is also expected to impact the Lehigh Valley-Berks and Susquehanna Valley areas.

The shooting happened on Interstate 95 after police responded to a large street race that had the highway shut down.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA—A Monday afternoon accident on Folly Road between Street Road and Pickertown Road in Warrington Township sent two people to the hospital and closed the roadway for hours.
