    Where In The World (Championship) Are The Seattle Kraken?

    Rosters for the 2024 IIHF World Championship, underway in Czechia, are peppered to varying degrees with NHL players.

    Seven members of the 2023-24 Seattle Kraken roster are scattered among the 16 participating countries. They've been joined by one Seattle prospect. Below, we list them and their statistics so far.

    Three Kraken are skating for team Canada, all hailing from the province of Ontario. They include Toronto's Brandon Tanev and Jamie Oleksiak, as well as Stratford's Jared McCann.

    Team Canada has won both of its games in the tournament so far, 4-2 over Great Britain, and 5-1 over Denmark.
