The most consistent feedback from Seattle Kraken fans has been frustration over inability to watch the team's games on TV without access to cable's sports tier.

Well, cross that item of the club's to-do list.

Starting next season, Kraken games will be shown on free, over-the-air KONG 6/16. Some games will be simulcast on KING-5. They'll also be streamed on Prime Video.

We detailed the move from regional sports cable channel ROOT Sports here .

    The news raises several questions:

    • How will fans be impacted?
    • Will the familiar TV broadcasters return?
    • What financial effects result from the move away from cable?
    • What will change with the team being in control of production?

To answer these and other issues, we conducted an exclusive one-on-one interview with Kraken president Victor de Bonis. It's today's Kraken Reaction conversation.
