Woman found shot off of highway near Largo, Md.
LARGO, Md. (7News) — Maryland State Police (MSP) are investigating a shooting that left a woman injured in her car in a ditch off the highway. According to MSP, troopers were called to investigate a car that went off the roadway along southbound I-495 before Landover Road around 10:45 p.m. on Friday. At the scene, they found a Nissan Versa in a ditch with the driver, 20-year-old Nyah Hairston, unconscious in the driver seat.
Man dead after vehicle crashes into White House security barrier
WASHINGTON (7News) — An investigation is underway after a man died in a crash near the White House on Saturday evening, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. At around 10:45 p.m., D.C. police said they responded to the intersection of 15th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue in Northwest, D.C. for reports of a crash. When they arrived, they located a man and pronounced him dead on the scene.
