Worker fatally struck by vehicle at Rochester gas station
A 51-year-old male worker was struck and fatally injured by a vehicle while working in a manhole at a gas station on Lyell Avenue in Rochester on Saturday. According to Rochester police, officers responded to the gas station at 1291 Lyell Ave. around 11:40 a.m. On scene, officers found the worker who had been struck by a vehicle driven by a 45-year-old male city resident, said Rochester Police Lt. Michael Azzolina.
