Scotch Plains Farmers Market Returns

SCOTCH PLAINS-FANWOOD, NJ -- "You gotta try the vegan cheese," Scotch Plains Farmers Market co-organizer Lisa Mohn told visitors in a voice loud enough to be heard across the entire market.

"They're stuff is incredible. You would never know that it's non-dairy. Earths Garden Vegan is a great addition to the Farmers Market this year," Mohn told TAPintoSPF.

Now in its 32nd year, the market offers the "Best of the Best" Jersey Fresh Farmers.

Several other first-time vendors are at the market this year, including Kariba Farms (fresh organic, dried fruits and nuts), Florasylva Cut Flower Farm , and The B's Cheese. They join popular returning vendors such as Ort Farms, Pickle Licious, The Lithuanian Bakery, Black Drop Coffee, and Stella's Empanadas.

The Scotch Plains Farmers Market runs from May 4 until November in the parking lot of the Scotch Plains Municipal Building (430 Park Ave.) on Saturdays between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.
