Central Texas pummeled with hail on Mother's Day
TEMPLE, Texas — Central Texans woke up to hail Mother's Day morning -- some big enough to cause damage to vehicles -- as severe thunderstorms rolled through the area. Residents shared photos and videos with 6 News, showing hail ranging in size from as small as dimes to as large as limes.

Retired couple gifts $100 to every teacher in Jarrell ISD
A retired couple from Sun City in Georgetown surprised every teacher and staff member in Jarrell ISD with $100 in cash last week. Dave and Jill Gaulden were at the district's Double Creek Elementary School campus to hand out some of the money Friday. The pair greeted and shook hands with every one of the school's teachers and staff members before handing each a $100 bill.
