    UPDATE: Spectrum Service Restored After Being Vandalized In Canyon Country

    UPDATE: Spectrum services have been restored after they were vandalized, causing an hours long outage in Canyon Country Tuesday.

    “Our fiber lines were cut this morning as a result of vandalism in the Santa Clarita area,” said Pamela Hoeft, a spokesperson for Spectrum. “Our technicians responded right away to repair more than 300 fiber strands that were cut. We have completed the necessary repairs to restore our services.”

    A Spectrum outage has been reported in the  east side of Canyon Country , according to Officials.

    “Our technicians are working on the problem. We estimate that your service will be restored by 2 a.m.,” Spectrum officials said in an email. “Due to the time, we’re alerting you by email about this outage. We understand how this can be challenging. To help you stay connected, Spectrum TV ® customers can enjoy many programming options by downloading our Spectrum TV App.”

    Multiple Spectrum trucks have been spotted along Sierra Highway and the 14 Freeway working to restore Spectrum service.
