As someone who is newer to the Wasatch, I'm still learning the ropes. But I've definitely heard about the party that is Alta's closing day and the annual Frank event. It's an event that people really show up for. After this year, I understand why. It certainly did not disappoint.

On Sunday, the weather gods brought sun, clear skies, and phenomenal corn skiing to the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon. Skiers started early with parking lot parties, costumes were extravagant, and there were too many hot dogs around throughout the day to count. Ballroom featured a big snake wiggle (not for the faint of heart) and the infamous Frank competition drew competitors and spectators alike to Wildcat. Check out the gallery of photos from Alta below.

Thank you for joining us—in person or in spirit—for our 86th winter. What a year!
