Power outage restored in Cochiti
COCHITI, N.M. — A power outage affecting nearly 1,000 customers in Cochiti and another surrounding area has been restored. A total of 646 customers were being affected by the outage in Cochiti. Man gets additional fentanyl possession charges during booking process
Edgar Garcia, 26, of Albuquerque, was charged May 23 with possession of a controlled substance at Sandoval County Detention Center. Earlier that day, Garcia was arrested for possession of fentanyl in the 1800 block of Pine Road after police responded to a call of a possible domestic incident. There was no probable cause to arrest Garcia for assault, but as police were about to release him, they noticed a bag with two suspected fentanyl pills fall out of Garcia's pocket in the back of the patrol car, and he was taken to the detention center.
