National Weather Service: Tornado near Valles Caldera gets ‘unknown’ EF rating
SANDOVAL COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – The National Weather Service (NWS) provided an update on a tornado that touched down in the Jemez Pueblo Saturday. NWS said the tornado caused little to no damage, so its EF rating is designated as “unknown.” The elevation for the tornado was recorded at 8,150 feet above sea level. Viewer Jamey Bryant sent KRQE News 13 video that showed the tornado near Valles Caldera.

A New Mexico man faces a heavy sentence after a federal grand jury indicted him for allegedly intending to distribute a whopping 47 pounds of fentanyl, officials announced. Luis Angel Pulido, a 22-year-old from Rio Rancho, New Mexico, is charged with one count of Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl, as confirmed by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Arizona.

Rio Rancho man arrested for shooting at vehicle on Paseo del Norte
A Rio Rancho man is accused of shooting at another vehicle in front of a New Mexico State Police officer on Paseo del Norte during the Monday morning commute. Paul Marquez, 21, is charged with aggravated assault upon a peace officer with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and shooting at or from a motor vehicle.
