Three suspects who allegedly beat up a victim and stole his jewelry during a fight last year near San Mateo High School have been arrested, authorities said Monday.

The suspects, ages 20, 17 and 16, are accused of punching the victim with brass knuckles during a fight on Dec. 22. He was hospitalized with multiple injuries after the incident, police said.

Investigators identified the suspects and obtained search and arrest warrants.

On May 3, officers arrested 20-year-old Joshua Ferri of Foster City, and the 17-year-old, a San Mateo resident. The 16-year-old was arrested at San Francisco Airport and arrested.

Authorities searched their homes and allegedly found evidence of the Dec. 22 robbery, evidence of drug sales, an unregistered and illegal pistol, and illegal drugs.

Officers also located over 1,400 pounds of illegal dangerous fireworks.

Ferri was later booked into San Mateo County Jail and the two younger suspects were booked into Hillcrest Juvenile Detention Facility.
