    2 San Jose officers injured in shooting, suspect also injured, police say

    According to a tweet sent by the department, the officers were responding to a disturbance on San Ignacio Avenue when a person shot at them.

    Two officers were hit. Officers fired back at the alleged shooter.

    Both the officers and the suspect were taken to local hospitals. Police say one officer has life-threatening injuries and is in stable, but critical condition while the other officer was treated for injuries and released.

    The suspect also remains in critical condition.

    During the investigation, San Ignacio Avenue has been closed from Bernal Road to Great Oaks Boulevard. Westbound Bernal Road is closed from Monterey Road to San Ignacio Avenue.
