( KRON ) - San Francisco Animal Care and Control is currently at maximum capacity for dogs due to a lack of space.

In hopes of incentivizing more adoptions, the shelter is waiving all adoption fees for dogs over 5 months old on the weekend of May 4 and 5.

Due to the lack of space, SFCC said, “A few amazing dogs are not on the adoption floor. Instead, they are waiting patiently on the stray/custody side of the building to find their forever families.”

Adoption fees aside, for every dog adopted during the weekend, Pet Lifestyle and You (P.L.A.Y) will give away free dog beds complementary to the adoption.

Some of the dogs that are currently up for adoption are Salsa and Guacamole, two Alaskan Husky Mix pups, and Big Boi, a one-year-old Pitbull Terrier.

All dogs available for adoption are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to departure, SFCC said.
