Arraez collects 4 hits in Padres debut

Luis Arraez made quite the first impression in his Padres debut, going 4-6 with an RBI and 2 runs scored. The Padres' entire offense seemed to feed off of Arraez, as they scored 13 runs on 18 hits, blowing the game wide open by scoring 8 runs in the 7th inning. Jurickson Profar hit a 2-run homer and Ha-Seong Kim added a 3-run blast for good measure in the 7th to give the Padres a comfortable lead. Not to be lost in the offensive explosion was a bounce back performance from Michael King, who tossed 6 scoreless innings and picked up his 3rd win of the season. It was the Padres' 4th win in a row, and sets them up for a chance to sweep their division foe on Sunday.
