    Blotter for May 1

    In Salisbury Police Department reports:

    • A theft of a motor vehicle occurred in the 2600 block of Old Wilkesboro Road between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. on April 29.
    • A larceny from a motor vehicle occurred in the 400 block of East Fisher Street at 6:05 a.m. on April 29. The total estimated loss was $35.
    • A theft of a motor vehicle occurred in the 300 block of Admiral Drive between 8 p.m. on April 28 and 6:45 a.m. on April 29.
    • A larceny occurred in the 100 block of East Innes Street between 11:36 a.m. on April 28 and 8 a.m. on April 29. The total estimated loss was $20.
    • Miscellaneous property damage occurred in the first block of North Arlington Street at 8:53 p.m. on April 29.
    • An assault with hands, feet or fists occurred in the 300 block of West Fourteenth Street at 2:48 a.m. on April 30.

    In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

    • A larceny from a motor vehicle occurred at Freeze Meadow Road between 12:05 p.m. on April 27 and 10 a.m. on April 28.
    • A theft of a motor vehicle occurred at Mimosa Street between 5 p.m. on April 26 and 5:25 p.m. on April 28.
    • Victor Rolando Ponce, 19, was charged with misdemeanor driving while impaired on April 28.
    • Michelle Moanikeala Schaffer, 38, was charged with misdemeanor second-degree trespassing on April 28.
    • Trey Jamison Freeze, 22, was charged with misdemeanor breaking and entering of a building on April 28. Freeze was charged in relation to a burglary that occurred on April 12.
