Starting June 1, 2023, the City of Salem Parks Operations will install floating boat docks at Wallace Marine Park for local access to the Willamette River. The docks cater to various watercraft during spring, summer, and fall, but are removed every November for winter protection. The Friends of the Woodburn Public Library announced that its next book sale scheduled to take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 17, at the Woodburn Public Library, 280 Garfield St. The sale will once again coincide with the Taste of Woodburn, which will take place on the Woodburn Plaza block kitty corner to the library.
