The Witch Hunt Within: A Review of ‘The Crucible’
“The Crucible” is a play set in Salem, Massachusetts, during the Salem Witch Trials of 1692. Although many parts are dramatized by Arthur Miller, it is based on a true story. The play is set in a very strict Puritan society where people live religious lifestyles, and where your reputation can affect your societal status. The story begins with rumors circulating in the town about witchcraft, and as a result, you see how quickly fear can make a community turn on itself.

Balerna has owned the property since buying his brother out in 2011.

Things To Do in Boston This Weekend: November 6 – November 8
Boston's first full weekend in November spans classical grandeur, sleight of hand, and hip-hop nostalgia. The Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Tanglewood Festival Chorus perform Haydn's “The Creation” at Symphony Hall. Magician Joe Majin pairs close-up illusions with specialty cocktails at the Revere Hotel Boston Common. Candlelight: 90s Hip-Hop on Strings reimagines a generation's anthems for a string quartet. College basketball and Bruins hockey heat up TD Garden, and the music continues into next week with Journey, The Longest Johns, and other acts.

Low Cut Connie rides a new wave of success into Boston
Low Cut Connie ’s music has always had a palpable human element, because singer/songwriter/pianist Adam Weiner writes about people and places he knows, and experiences he’s either had or observed. The fact that Weiner and his band deliver the music with the kind of all-out, joyous energy that often seems lacking in popular music today has made them a surefire live music sensation. Local fans who heard Low Cut Connie’s show at the Spire Center in Plymouth last year can attest to that. But in the past year, Weiner’s writing took on a bit more of a topical tone, as the chaos and upheaval in American life left him dismayed. Last year’s single “ Livin In the USA ,” which is seemingly a plea for understanding and an end to hostility, led to some of the most far-reaching reaction of the band’s career. You could call it notoriety if you want, and not all the attention was positive, but the most tangible result is that Weiner’s music and the band he founded in 2010 has seen more exposure than ever. Low Cut Connie is another example of that old showbiz cliché, an "overnight sensation" with their eighth album, after 16

Brothers Osborne headline Coreyfest. More concerts to catch
12th Annual Coreyfest raises money for Corey C. Griffin Foundation Let's start with a really cool musical event with local significance, as the 12th Annual Coreyfest comes to The House of Blues in Boston on Saturday, Nov. 14, with the headline attraction Brothers Osborne . Coreyfest is the main fundraising event for the Corey C. Griffin Foundation , which supports a variety of efforts to help mentor and provide aid to children in need. The foundation was formed in memory of Scituate rink rat Corey Griffin, who went on to play college hockey for both Boston College and Babson. After his graduation, Griffin became a major force in raising money for ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) , growing out of his friendship with BC's Pete Frates , and was a big force in establishing things like " the ice bucket challenge ." Griffin died in 2014, at just 27, after a diving accident on Nantucket, where he had just produced an ALS-fundraising event. His friends and family began the foundation shortly afterwards to keep his memory and charitable efforts alive. This year's show is especially interesting because Brothers Osborne is one of the hottest acts in country music, with their songs
