NCAA Division I football players can play up to four games in the regular season and still redshirt. It's a great rule that allows players to gain experience or fill in for injured teammates and not burn an entire season of eligibility. Basketball players, however, still burn an entire season of eligibility by playing a single game. Fitz thinks this needs to change.
