Traffic stop near Cottage Grove leads to Eugene man’s arrest, 40 pounds of meth seized
EUGENE, Ore. – A traffic stop on Interstate 5 near Cottage Grove on Thursday led to the arrest of a 69-year-old Eugene man after a search of his vehicle and later his home resulted in a massive seizure of drugs, cash, a gun, and paraphernalia, according to the Eugene Police Department.

EUGENE, Ore. – A Eugene couple is recovering after they said a group of young men attacked them in Downtown Eugene over the weekend. Geri, who asked to only go by her first name, was leaving a bar after playing some pool with her husband when she said a group of young men asked her for a cigarette. She said she told them she did not smoke, but the group began shouting at Geri. Her husband told them to stop, and Geri said they started to walk away.
