New Indian Restaurant Planned in American River Plaza

The former Jimboy’s Tacos space inside Folsom’s American River Plaza at 9500 Greenback Ln is getting a new tenant. According to a pending liquor license in the Alcohol Beverage Control database, the incoming restaurant appears to be Taj Grill Indian Cuisine .

Taj Grill has two other locations, one in Vallejo and another in Napa. The restaurant has high ratings on Yelp, with many considering it as the best indian cuisine in their area. The menu contains various appetizers and curry dishes, as well as biryani/rice options. It is also known for the extensive tandoori grill and kabab items and several specialty naans, including Cheese Pizza Naan, Kashmiri Naan (stuffed with fruit and nuts), and Taj Spicy Naan.

Licensing records show the incoming Folsom location is operated by the same management company, Udasin Management LLC , by owner Yadvinder Singh , whose name is also registered under the Vallejo location. The restaurant’s website describes it as a family-owned and operated business.

Calls made to Singh and the landlord, Ethan Conrad Properties , were answered. Singh did not respond to What Now Sacramento’s email inquiry.
