California State Fair announces first headliners for 2024. See who playing and when

The California State Fair has announced its first two headliners for the summer concert season .

Country singer Chris Young and rapper Flo Rida will perform as part of the fair’s 2024 Toyota Concert Series, organizers announced Monday morning.

Young, known for his songs “Famous Friends” and “Looking for You” will take the Golden 1 Stage at Cal Expo in Sacramento on July 18.

Flo Rida, whose hits include “Low” and “Good Feeling,” will perform at the fair on July 23.

The rapper played a show with T-Pain at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in December.

When is California State Fair in Sacramento?

The California State Fair runs from July 12 to 28 at Cal Expo.

This year’s Toyota Concert Series will feature a total of 17 shows, with musical artists performing daily.

The rest of the lineup had yet to be announced as of Monday.

How can I see concerts at the fair?

The concerts are free with fair admission.

How much are fair tickets?

You can buy tickets to the state fair online.

Early bird tickets cost $14, or $10 for seniors 62 years and older and $8 for kids 5 to 12 years old. Children 4 and under are free.

Regular prices for adults are $16, seniors are $12 and kids 5 to 12 years are $10.

As of Monday, the fair website does not note when regular prices kick in.

What about reserved seats?

Reserved seats for the Toyota Concert Series cost $25.

You can reserve your seats for the Flo Rida show and the Chris Young concert online.
