With over 180,000 votes, Emma Blodgett is the Advantage Federal Credit Union's Girls Sports Athlete of the Week. The Fairport senior, a hurdler on the track and field team, won the Cedric Walker Memorial 400-meter hurdles race and ran the anchor leg on the first-place 1,600 relay during the His and Her Invitational at Churchville-Chili. She also won the 400 hurdles race in 1 minute, 7.21 seconds and ran with the first-place 1,600 relay during a dual meet earlier in the week. This is the fastest time reported in Section V this season.
