A new, small-format version of the bistro and wine bar House of Oliver is set to open in Fountains at Roseville later this year, around late summer or early fall. This news was first reported by Sacramento Business Journal .

Owned by husband-and-wife Matthew and Siobhan Oliver , House of Oliver currently operates at 3992 Douglas Blvd . The establishment serves beer, wine, cocktails, and a full menu, including appetizers, flatbreads, and dinner specials. The bistro also hosts live entertainment and other events.

The new concept, taking over the former Creamy’s space at 1013 Galleria Blvd , will be a small-format rendition of the same concept. Matthew Oliver told What Now Sacramento that they are only waiting on the liquor license approval, which is anticipated to be completed in the next 90 days, before opening their doors.

The space is only a couple hundred square feet, offering an intimate environment for people to spend their time. Situated on a center walk path surrounded by retail shops, the new House of Oliver will be the perfect place for people-watching.

“We want to keep House of Oliver’s classy, comfortable feel. There will be a little bar where you can sit in the back, a firepit on the outside, and an amazing gazebo overhead. During the hot days, we will have misters on the patio so people can still enjoy the outside,” Oliver told What Now Sacramento over the phone.

According to Oliver, the new concept will open seven days a week from 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with plans to have live music at least three days a week. He is also discussing hosting other events with the Fountains team.
