Lightning strike sparks attic fire in Murfreesboro home
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WSMV) - An attic caught fire after lightning reportedly struck a home in Murfreesboro on Wednesday, according to the Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department. The incident occurred during Wednesday’s storms at a home on Tin Cup Drive, according to Murfreesboro Fire. Firefighters arrived to find the attic above the bonus room on fire and quickly extinguished the flames. They accessed the attic through the bonus room below, which sustained minimal water damage.
